Old Ballantruan Single Malt Scotch Whisky takes its name from an exceptionally pure and natural water source, the Ballantruan spring. Unusual for the Speyside region, Old Ballantruan is a heavily peated single malt with a distinctively rich, sweet, creamy and campfire smoke flavour profile.
The 10 year old is matured exclusively in hand selected American oak ex-bourbon barrels and is a rich, sweet, creamy and distinctively smoky single malt.
Tasting Notes from the distillery.
Nose: Gently spicy with smoky “peat-reek” deliciously balanced by a sweeter creamy core.
Palate: Some gentle peaty smokiness balanced with a sweet, creamy, malty backbone.
Finish: Climbing finish of sweetness gradually replaced with smoky depth.

Click & Collect
You can click and collect your order from us, usually same day if you order before 1pm. Just show us your confirmation email when you arrive at the shop. We are open from 9am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 9pm until 5pm on Saturdays, and 10am until 4pm on Sundays, excluding Christmas Day & New Year's Day.
